Making Our House
Your Home

We offer a lot of help and even more hope

Take a Look Around

Welcome to a virtual tour of our Home. Wander the halls, explore the surroundings, and get a feel for what awaits your arrival. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call us at 402-346-9377.

Booking Your Stay

Stays at our House are arranged on a referral basis through the social worker assigned to your family by the Omaha area hospitals your child is receiving treatment at. A referral is not a reservation, but it is the first step. You must live at least 35 miles from the
House to be eligible to stay here.

If you have not yet been to Omaha for treatment and assigned a social worker, you can begin the reservation
process yourself by clicking below.

The 1-2-3’s of Staying With Us

Check In

  • Upon arrival, all adults that are staying in a room will be asked to present a valid photo ID and complete registration paperwork.
  • Once registration is complete, first-time guests will receive a tour of the House.
  • Each family is encouraged to donate $25/night during their stay. But you will never, ever be turned away if this donation cannot be made.

During Your Stay

  • There is much we could cover here about your stay, but it’s probably better that we give you all that info during your arrival tour. However, it might help to know that we do not provide in-room housekeeping services. Meaning you’ll have to tidy up during your stay just like you would back home.

Check Out

  • Rooms must be cleaned before you leave. A checklist will be provided so you won’t have to guess.
  • When you’re ready to roll, check out at the front office. And don’t forget your keys – a $25 replacement fee will be charged for any that have been lost.

By volunteering. Our volunteers are the heart and soul of the House – and the reason we accomplish so much with such a small staff. Come join us!
