Meals That Heal
Thank you for signing up to provide Meals That Heal!
Thank you again so much for volunteering to prepare a Meal That Heals for the families staying with at our House. We are so excited to have all of you 😊
Helpful tips & reminders:
- Volunteers are expected to select the menu and purchase the ingredients. Your meal can be as simplistic or complicated as you chose.
- Volunteers preparing Meals are not responsible for any dietary restrictions.
- We allow a maximum of 8 volunteers in the house at a time.
- During flu season, we ask that all volunteers are at least 18 years of age.
- Masks are required while you are in the house.
- All food must be prepared in our kitchen or catered in from a professional kitchen.
Day Of Agenda:
- You may arrive as early as 3:00pm to begin cooking.
- Please plan to serve dinner around 5:30pm.
- Please note that our families are navigating medical care with their kiddos. Depending on their medical appointments and treatment, some families many not be available to dine in our kitchen at 5:30pm. Just a friendly reminder that even if you do not see all families at the time of your volunteer service, the food you prepare is enjoyed when they return from the hospital and even sometimes for leftovers the following day. Thank you for understanding!
- If you would like a tour, please plan to arrive no later than 4:30pm.
