Meals That Heal

Thank you for signing up to provide Meals That Heal!

Thank you again so much for volunteering to prepare a Meal That Heals for the families staying with at our House. We are so excited to have all of you 😊

Helpful tips & reminders:

  • Volunteers are expected to select the menu and purchase the ingredients. Your meal can be as simplistic or complicated as you chose.
  • Volunteers preparing Meals are not responsible for any dietary restrictions.
  • We allow a maximum of 8 volunteers in the house at a time.
  • During flu season, we ask that all volunteers are at least 18 years of age.
  • Masks are required while you are in the house.
  • All food must be prepared in our kitchen or catered in from a professional kitchen.

Day Of Agenda:

  • You may arrive as early as 3:00pm to begin cooking.
  • Please plan to serve dinner around 5:30pm.
  • Please note that our families are navigating medical care with their kiddos. Depending on their medical appointments and treatment, some families many not be available to dine in our kitchen at 5:30pm. Just a friendly reminder that even if you do not see all families at the time of your volunteer service, the food you prepare is enjoyed when they return from the hospital and even sometimes for leftovers the following day. Thank you for understanding!
  • If you would like a tour, please plan to arrive no later than 4:30pm.

Meals That Heal Schedule:

We choose to support the RMHC because it is a staple of our community. For us, the least we can do is come make a home cooked meal for these wonderful families and get to know their stories. Giving to an organization that does so much good for others is one we want to get behind! Thanks to the RMHC, so many families have a place to call home during the toughest time in their lives.

- Hannah Coleman, Concentric

We do what we do for the House because we can, we care, we are in hospitality and we stand behind “Pure Hospitality”! What is “Pure Hospitality”? It’s family, community, genuine, unscripted, honesty. Along with our staff, we believe RMHC fits into all of
these categories.

- Tim Darby, Magnolia Hotel

Cquence Health Group is very family focused and we participate in many events each year that support both families and children in the community. RMHC is a great way to directly help families that are going through a scary and stressful time in their lives. We love having the chance to make things a little easier for them by providing a good home cooked meal at the end of their day.
