Make an Impact
Once enrolled, it doesn’t take much of a payroll deduction to make an impact for our families:
- $2 per week provides laundry services for a family ($104)
- $10 per month provides one night of comfort and hope for one family ($120)
- $10 per week pays for our van’s fuel cost for the entire year, allowing us to provide transportation to families in need ($520)
- $20 per month covers one night’s suggested donation from a family
Your payroll deduction of $5 or even $1 can make your community a sweeter place to live, work and play.

Give Nebraska connects you to the charities you care about through Workplace Giving. Here’s how it works: businesses and employers who want to give back to their communities become our partners and give their employees an opportunity to automatically donate a small portion of their regular paychecks.

Together A Greater Good
TAGG (Together A Greater Good) is an Omaha start-up whose mission is to enable anyone to support their favorite school, non-profit or team without spending an extra dime. The ‘Together A Greater Good’ smartphone app allows people to “TAGG” their purchase at participating businesses all over town, that will donate 5 percent of the total to the customer’s favorite cause. Amazon Smile Donation Drive

One of the simplest fundraisers is one done on Facebook. Create your own campaign for RMHC and encourage your friends and followers to help you raise money.
Host An Office Donation Drive
Another way you can give back is by hosting a donation drive benefiting the families who stay with us.

Host your own donation drives and collect items like:
- New Toys
- New Tupperware/Kitchen Supplies
- Household Supplies
- Pop Tab Collection Drive – Host a pop tab donation drive anytime throughout the year. We collect and recycle aluminum pop tabs and the funds received help pay our electric bill.
Holiday Adopt-A-Family – Adopt a family staying at RMHC during the month of December. Our incredible donors help provide these families a wonderful holiday while they are away from their homes.
Donate Company or Fleet Vehicles
