Event Invitation from Drs. Jan and Harris Frankel
Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha is an organization that we hold dear to our hearts. This House is a home away from home for the fighters who have packed up their families, traveled hundreds or even thousands of miles to an unfamiliar city, endured countless long nights, and overcome numerous obstacles just so their children can receive the medical care they so desperately need.
We have seen first-hand the kind of impact the House can have on a family, lifting a burden that is often too much to bear alone. These families lean on each other, and they lean on our community to support them. This is why we stand with this organization, and this is why we are honored to serve as co-chairs for two upcoming RMHC events. The first is a Keynote Luncheon on Tuesday, August 14 at Scott Conference Center, and the other is the annual Wings and Wheels Gala held at Signature Flight Support on Friday, September 7, 2018.
The Keynote Luncheon is a new event for RMHC, and it’s a privilege to be a part of it, as the guest speaker is author and six-time Ironman World Champion Mark Allen. Mark was named ESPN’s Greatest Endurance Athlete of All Time, and he’ll be sharing his story of resilience to support the resilient families staying in the House. Join us for lunch at the Scott Conference Center on the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Scott Campus, at 6450 Pine St, Omaha, NE 68106. You can see the sponsorship opportunities at www.rmhcomaha.org/keynote.
Wings and Wheels is unlike any other gala. You’ll be surrounded by luxury cars and private airplanes, all while enjoying delicious cuisine and craft cocktails from local vendors. The event will also have a live auction featuring incredible prize packages, including tickets to the Indianapolis 500, Creighton basketball tickets, a helicopter ride, and much more. It’s sure to be an unforgettable night, so visit the event registration page to view sponsorship opportunities and purchase your tickets: https://rmhcomaha.org/wingsandwheels.
The proceeds from these events directly benefit the families staying in the House, but by attending these events, you’ll provide more than just a place for these families to lay their head. You’ll give them everything they need so they can solely focus on the health of their child. You’ll show them that our community is there for them in their time of need. You’ll show them that they’re not alone. You’ll give them hope.
Please join us in supporting these fighters.
Sincerely,
Drs. Jan and Harris Frankel
